All the locals know to check in with Joel for the best snow report.
Have fun playing in the in all that powder, and let these guys handle the heavy lifting when it comes to snow removal: https://aimeestraw.com/profession/snow-removal/
Plus, hiring them will give you more time to get outside! It’s hard not to feel like a kid again when it’s snowing out, coming down real heavy. And then the next day when we get those Colorado blue bird days and all the trees have a fluffy coat? Ahhh. It’s heaven. Keep doing your Ullr dances, folks, because winter arrived!
Because I’m a Mom, I can’t help but mention that you should be keeping an extra blanket in your car, some water if you can, and a snow shovel. Try to never get below 1/4 of a tank of gas. And make sure to stock up on flashlights, batteries and non-perishables in your home. Don’t forget the manual can opener 🙂 Blue River residents during this past storm lost power and Xfinity services for days! Many cars were off the road and had to wait for emergency services. It is a lot less stressful if you are prepared for those kind of situations. Throw one of these kits in your car, plus an extra blanket and you’re good to go. https://www.amazon.com/AUTODECO-Emergency-Roadside-Assistance-Vehicle/dp/B0BY4X2Y1M/ref=sr_1_29?crid=39KR1B962OL1Z&keywords=car+safety+kit+cold+weather&qid=1705622883&sprefix=car+safety+kit%2Caps%2C167&sr=8-29
